1. (at, on) a se uita fix, a se zgâi, a se holba (la).

2. a privi cu neruşinare / obrăznicie.

3. a face ochii mari, a se holba, a privi încremenit / cu mirare.

stare I. verb B. tranzitiv

a privi fix;

to stare smb. in the face a privi pe cineva în ochi;

to stare smb. into silence a face pe cineva să tacă privindu-l.

stare II. substantiv

1. privire fixă / aţintită;

to give smb. a stare a privi fix la cineva.

2. privire încremenită.
