4. a prelungi, a amâna, a proroga.

5. a relua (un discurs după pauză etc.).

6. (jur.) a nu scoate (un proces) de pe rol, a menţiona pe rol.

1. a continua, a dura, a dăinui, a ţine; a rămâne, a supravieţui;
